Mx230 Option-25 Battery Board
The battery board is the same size and has the same mounting hole pattern as the existing Mx230 Option-20 outrigger board. The battery board mounts on standoffs from all six mounting holes on the outrigger board and is positioned right over the top of the transmitter. After installing the battery board onto the transmitter, everything still fits nicely into a 3" diameter coupler tube. The six mounting holes can also be used to mount it a custom sled. Depending on your sled thickness, it might be necessary to replace the 4-40 mounting screws with longer ones. The transmitter power button is accessed through a hole in the battery board. A small dowel or other tool is needed to press the power button. It cannot be pressed by finger. The pyro battery can be a standard 9V as shown here or a LiPo battery. Light pipes allow all the LED indicators on the transmitter board to be clearly viewed. A cut out in the battery board allows access to the USB connector. |

This is a short HD video (47 seconds) that shows a 360 degree view of the battery board mounted to the Kate-3 transmitter and pyro board. Be sure to expand it out to full screen to get a good look at the entire package. (There is no sound.)
This document shows some of the features of the battery board.
