TelemetryPro® Tracking System Price List
What version of transmitter should I buy? Here are a few tradeoffs to consider.
Option-10 is usually mounted by placing it inside an 54mm coupler tube. It can be used on 54mm and larger rockets. However, being so skinny, it ends up being pretty long in order to fit everything together. Option-20 is easier to mount on a sled or other structure and fits in airframes and nosecones 3” in diameter or larger. With option-20 the batteries are completely separate. You will need to figure out how to mount them on your sled or whatever structure you create. However, this generally allows option-20 to require less overall length since you are taking advantage of a larger diameter. Option-25 is the same as Option-20 but adds an extra battery board that is bolted onto the Option-20 unit to hold the batteries. This eliminates the need to create your own battery holders on your sled. Option-25 also fits in 3” and larger diameters. Option-25 can be mounted to a sled using the same screws that bolt the battery board to the unit. With Option-25 your can also remove the battery board if you want, and you are left with the Option-20 configuration. Option-30 is for situations where length and width are of no concern. It is very long but has everything packaged together and has lots of mounting screw holes available along its entire length.
