New features included in this release:
The firmware has been modified to make sure data packets with accelerometer information about altitude and velocity will continue to be transmitted to the ground even if no new GPS updates are available. GPS updates may become unavailable above 164K feet MSL (50km) due to restrictions placed on civilian GPS units. The Mx110 transmitter has not yet been flown above 164K feet but this change is being made in case there is an issue. It will allow Kate to continue to announce flight progress during boost even if GPS information becomes unavailable.
