Mx150 Unlimited Altitude
GPS Tracking System
The Mx150 transmitter features a GPS with unlimited altitude reporting capability. It can be used to track extremely high altitude flights and capture the maximum altitude with GPS precision. Other trackers designed for hobby/amateur rockets are limited to 50km (164K feet) maximum GPS altitude.
The version shown here is similar to the original Mx110 transmitter configuration. Except that here the downlink antenna is pointed up so that it uses nosecone tip space more efficiently. This version fits inside a 54mm coupler tube or even a 54mm nosecone. A shorter "stubby antenna" is also an option for lower altitude flights. It is 3.0 inches shorter.
Other configurations are also possible. The GPS antenna and the downlink antenna can be remotely mounted if necessary and connected via cables. The battery can also be remotely mounted. An optional pyro board can be plugged onto the back side of the transmitter in order to add deployment and staging capability.
The round thrust plate on the bottom can be removed if desired. This allows the unit to be easily mounted to a bulkhead or other structure.
Mx150 Transmitter Raw Board
This is the raw transmitter board for the Mx150 tracking system. The optional antenna mount has been removed. The top cover and back side battery board have also been removed.
In this configuration it can easily be mounted on an avonics bay "seld" or other structure in the rocket. Cables can be used to connect to the antennas and battery.

Mx152 Pyro Board
The Mx152 Pyro Board is an optional accessory that plugs onto the backside of an Mx150 transmitter and adds deployment and staging capability. An apogee event can be fired with GPS precision even at altitudes that reach into space.
